I was so scared to deliver that first wedding gallery. I sent the link and stared at my computer and my phone waiting for an email or text to tell me their thoughts.
I was so relieved when my phone pinged with a text not 5 minutes after I sent the link. They loved them! Come to find out that the best man is a serious guy who almost never cries, so that photo made them laugh. The bride also shared with me that her father had been battling some health issues and, for a while, it was uncertain whether or not he would make it to her wedding. I was truly astonished to know that my photos held so much meaning for this couple. That is when I knew that I had found my dream job.
Your story, your love, is beautiful and I can't wait to capture it in images you will treasure for years to come. If you are looking for a New Orleans wedding photographer, or a wedding photographer for any Louisiana or Southeast location, I would love to hear from you!
I believe in real moments. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
I was born in New Orleans, but spent most of my childhood in a city outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. Once I finished graduate school, I moved back to New Orleans and my husband Andy came with! We are now happily married and have settled down to make New Orleans our home.
My love for photography has opened so many doors for me since starting my business. I have met amazing people in the wedding industry and have explored so many unique venues that our city has to offer. My favorite part of being a wedding photographer in New Orleans is getting to capture the special moments centered around the good food, jazzy music, and fun traditions of our city.
The beach is my happy place and it's always made better with friends and family. Most vacations I take have to include hot weather and the ocean. I just love the serene sound of the waves and spending time in the sun!

Another favorite thing that includes a beach! But for real, give me a good book and a beach and I can be there for hours. Plus, who doesn't love a mid-book beach nap?

While I pride myself on being a social person, some days I just like to curl up in my PJs and lay around binge watching movies (added bonus if the movies are Disney).

Nothing helps to de-stress like a night with my favorite ladies. New Orleans has so many cool places to go for a dinner and drinks and I have so much fun exploring them.

To be more specific, it started with my first kiss with my husband on our wedding day. The kiss that was captured so beautifully by our wedding photographer. Looking at those photos, I immediately reminisce about the entire wedding day, all of the joy, love, and laughter that was present. It suddenly struck me that I could be the person who captured those moments for others. The moments that are cherished forever.
Photographs are the one thing that cannot be replaced. They are a snapshot of the memories of birthdays and holidays with family or even the final memory of moments with a loved one. Photos document the celebration of adding a new life to the family or joining two families together. They commemorate the good times and the bad, but they all work together to tell our stories. That is why I do it.
it all began with a kiss.
