I had no idea what to expect when I photographed my first wedding. I was nervous, for sure, and had spent weeks making a game plan and asking Facebook groups for advice. No matter how much I planned and researched for the day, nothing could have ever prepared me for the excitement I felt when I got to capture the biggest moment in this couple's life.

The music faded, guests fell quiet, and the doors in the back of the church slowly opened to reveal a stunning bride. In that moment, the groom smiled, relieved that the moment was finally here, and the bride shed a few small tears. They only had eyes for each other, but my eyes were on them. The bride wasn't able to see the proud smile on her father's face when he escorted her down the aisle, and the groom couldn't see his best man tearing up. But I did.
